Tue-muchstufftodo-sday

Time left in location: 4 days.

Alrightyo, I have to face it. Summer is basically over. It's September now and my last concert of the summer has come and gone. I've finished AlcoholEdu, connected with roommates, and bought myself enough crap to keep me alive for a year. There's nothing else I could possibly need to do, right?

WHAT? You mean to tell me that somehow, some way, all of that "crap" has to go in boxes so that they can be easily taken with me up to Beantown (for the record... people don't actually call it Beantown)? Okay, fair enough, that shouldn't be a problem.
Okay, no, it's a problem.

I have never had to "pack up my life" before. I don't think I had even learned to walk the last time I moved. The most packing I have ever done was probably for a 10-day Alaskan cruise.
It was my full intention this morning to start organizing all of the dormy goods and feel a little better about the big time packing.
Still nope.
One step into the dining room (aka, dorming storage central) and I got overwhelmed by all of the STUFF.

And then there's the whole "My bedroom is a complete disaster and if I don't clean it before I leave, my mother is going to do it" thing.

I would love a copy of "Chicken Soup for the Scatterbrained, College-Bound, Teen's Soul" to come into existence. Except then I would probably read that instead of doing what I'm supposed to be doing right now.

That's right, I said right now. By reading this entry, to have contributed to my chronic procrastination tendencies.

Laundry time (I figure that's a safe place to start.)

P.S.- My cats have been sleeping on the sheets I washed to bring with me a few days ago. It's adorable and I'll miss them. Too bad that means I need to wash them again.
